Flexible topology for large, urban stations
smartVES is a network-based public address system utilizing TCP/IP technology, compliant with railway standards (especially regarding EMC) and fully EN54 certified.
A key feature of the system is intelligent real-time sound adaptation, ensuring high speech intelligibility even in significant noise. The system integrates with passenger information systems, offering automatic announcements and remote management. Its primary task is to convey crucial voice information to travelers regarding safety, timetables, railway traffic, and carrier services.

Intercom System
Reliable two-way communication at railway stations
The Intercom System is an advanced tool for two-way voice communication, based on the IP protocol.
It ensures seamless information exchange in key locations such as stations and platforms. Thanks to advanced digital sound processing – including noise reduction, echo cancellation, and automatic volume control – the system guarantees high speech intelligibility even in exceptionally noisy environments. The robust design and durable casing of the devices ensure reliable operation in harsh environmental conditions.
The system is characterized by easy integration with PA and other security systems, enabling comprehensive facility management, efficient handling of emergency calls, and continuous monitoring. Additionally, all events and conversations are recorded, providing valuable support for security analysis and crisis management.

smartVES Central Unit
The central control unit SMART-CU11 is a key functional element of the system. The system is scaled by the required number of control units, which communicate with each other via a TCP/IP network, ensuring flexibility in extensive installations.
Each location requires at least one smart-CU11 unit, equipped with a service panel featuring an intuitive touchscreen. The SMART-CU11 performs many key functions: it acts as a digital announcement player, an audio matrix for signal routing management, an amplifier control interface, a fire alarm interface, and an advanced DSP (Digital Signal Processor). Furthermore, the smart-CU11 unit offers integration with external systems, utilizing both analog and digital interfaces.
Two-way communication
The Intercom System is a tool for two-way communication between passengers and services responsible for safety, assistance, and order.
It consists of communication modules (intercoms), equipped with a microphone, speaker, and function buttons, installed at stations and passenger stops. All transmissions within the system occur via the IP network. Operators, located in the control center, receive calls from intercoms and take appropriate actions. The server additionally enables intercom integration with third-party systems, particularly PSIM and CCTV, ensuring comprehensive supervision and event management.
